    Two Shots Review: http://twoshots.tumblr.com/post/24964867023/certifiedcopy

A two hour involved intellectual conversation between two good actors that blends ambiguity, authenticity, and originality. They play out what they discuss to an extent. I'm not really wired to be able to grok a nuanced conversation/debate for that long; in order to understand something like this, I need time to digest, to reread, to ask follow-up questions. So I found this movie difficult to watch and difficult to even evaluate. Is it really a movie? It's more of a discussion, an exercise; it's definitely art, but it's the movie watching equivalent of reading philosophy. But its presentation is excellent: the way the director makes the audience unsure of just what is real and not is affecting and plays right into the film's axis of what is real, what is not. The director, Abbas Kiarostami, was the writer of Crimson Gold and director/writer of Taste of Cherry.
