Being a Hollywood movie, the true story behind this movie is of course exaggerated for entertainment purpose however, The Conjuring is the best horror film I've seen yet which uses the classical ways to scare the audience such as those of the classic "The Exorcist" & "Poltergeist".
A surprisingly great movie about the relationship between "The Ice Queen" & her sister, with a likeable side-character Olaf, and a twist that avoids the typical "Disney princess Cliché"; but is somewhat also expected. The singing in this movie of course made me question "Why am I watching this?" but the words are nonetheless meaningful.
Just like every Marvel movie, it has its interesting moments but is bogged down with its over-ridiculousness. My favourite scene of the whole movie? The post-credit scene which is 10x better than both the "Wolverine" movies combined.
Weak story and acting by Keanu Reeves, but fight-scenes are entertaining; mixed with a couple of well-known Hong Kong stars such as Karen Mok & Simon Yam, as well as a surprising scene with upcoming Indonesian martial-artist/star, Iko Uwais -- is enough to redeem this below average film.
