The film wasn't what I hoped for, although at times it did make me laugh it didn't feel like the transformers I knew of and grew up with. I really had hoped the Dinobots would of at least made an appearance in this film but unfortunately that's the way Hollywood goes I guess.
I thought it would have been an epic film if James Cameron had directed it and the whole firing of Megan Fox was really stupid! This new actress and the story to the film just didn't feel right. At times I found myself shaking my head in disgust and wondering why they still needed to add robot stereotypes that talk in ebonics although it seemed they toned those robots down a lot from the previous film I just don't remember this type of Transformers anywhere in the cartoons or comic books?
And Making Megatron into this Mad Max stereotype who is living out in the African desert with the wild life what's that all about? And while the subject of Megatron is up! Why in the hell was he a truck? Last I remember Megatron was a Jet!? But this is this is Michael Bay and Hasbro and these two powerhouses aren't going to let a little solidity get in their way of creating a new robot franchise for their tow line up!
I felt that this film falls into the same crap hole as the first two movies fell into like focusing way too much on the human characters. I thought this movie was called "TRANSFORMERS", not Sam & Carly staring the Transformers. I mean what the hell!! Half the final battle in this film focused on the human part as they tried their best at surviving the conflict between the robots that weren't on screen as much as the humans.... while in the back of my mind I was screaming "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SHOW THE DAMN ROBOTS FIGHTING!" Oh well what can I do except pray that if another transformers film does arise this time around there is a new director or a crossover of another franchise (G.I. Joe) that also needs a new face lift!
