After seeing Crank, I knew that their was going to be a sequel, because, we see him (*SPOILERS*) plunge from a staggering height from a helicoptor, and lives. Well, when I saw Crank High Voltage, I wasn't dissapointed.
This film has non-stop action all the way through it. From gunfights in the streets, to a gunfight at a strip club, to a gun fight at a mansion, this movie doesn't dissapoint.
The cast members include Jason Statham ( as Chev Chelios) and Amy Smart (as Eve - Chev's girlfriend). Both of these performances are just great all the way through the movie.
Although this movie has a lot of action in it, they managed to find time to fit in a lot of humour, especially in the fight at the power station, where fake dummies are used to have a fist fight between Chev and a Triad gang member.
The only thing that I am going to critisize is the fact that the film is a bit too over the top, especially what we find in the mansion, very near to the end.
To sum up my review, a very good action shoot-em-up style film with some great performances by Jason Statham and Amy Smart, but just a little bit over the top, whereas, this film I would reccomend this film to anyone who loves action movie. 5/5
Saw was possibly the best horror film I have seen to date. It also gives out a good sence of mystery becuase you 1. Won't know whats going to happen next and 2. It shows a deadly choice - kill or your family will get killed if not done by a specific time.
The cast of this film include Tobin Bell, Gary Elwes and Danny Glover. Tobin gives out an exeptional performance as 'Jigsaw', whom I write about in a minute. The other cast members are great but not as good as Tobin.
The so called killer is known as Jigsaw. He sets up some of the most gruesome traps I have ever seen. Some of these include hacksawing your own leg off so you can walk, cutting into bodies of people who have beeen drugged and crawling through a barbed wire tunnel.
This film keeps you on the edge of your seat. This isn't a bad film, especially as it seems low budgeted.
To sum up my review, a great mystery/horror film with some great performances, especially by Tobin Bell and has lots of gore. Make sure you watch it in the dark! 5/5
