I saw 3-Iron on your "favorite movies" list and the unequivocal review you wrote so I gave it a try. Now i feel indebted to you, it was one of the most beautiful film i've ever seen.
Here are a couple of suggestions to repay my dept : I noticed you review of Before Sunrise (which is probably the reason i visited your profile) and it made me think of In search of a Midnight Kiss, it's probably a bit less romantic and has more of gritty feel but I loved it (it might be hard to find though).
If you're in a contemplative kind of mood, you might also like the series of film Trois Couleurs especially Bleu (if you don't mind slow movies) or the intriguing finale, Rouge.
