The fourth installment of the Twilight saga, and boy was it a fourth too far.
A lot of exciting developments in the story, however, the film was about as exciting as a blank screen. The acting by the main leads(Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner) gets worse and worse as the film progresses. Stewart's constant eyelash fluttering( like a robot breaking down) and both Pattinson and Lautner's strong man jaw-clenching is just ridiculous.
The merits of this film, the funny speeches by Kendrick, Burke etc. and the soundtrack are not enough to make it passable. The shamefully cheesy script and very questionable editing make this film what it is: a fourth. A fourth is a film that the makers never care enough about, they keep the same actors but fail to make it as exciting as the first films, and this is it. A messy, boring fourth. They even show clips from the first, as though to remind the audience and themselves how good Twilight used to be.
I would recommend this film to anyone who wishes to waste their money to sit in a cinema seat for over two hours, to pick their skin just for something to do.
