This started off creepy enough. I felt compelled to continue watching to see the out come. But halfway through i found myself losing interest. I was supposed to start understanding the history of the area and the relevance of this piss stinking tunnel. But i didnt. I just became really bored with the film and completely lost interest.
I'm starting to notice a trend for movies made up of random misfit and retired aging actors. This is the police acadamy of tower thefts. Pretty ridiculous but harmless and watchable enough. The jokes were random. I felt situations became distorted so the director could squeeze a particular joke he wanted included. The jokes were pretty crappy, but it was ok and probably what i expected.
Really good documentary about a subject i didnt think i would understand. This was a fully comprehensive guide to the history, purpose and story of the CERN Hadron collider. Fantastic piece of engineering. Closest thing to a spaceship ive ever seen. Great input by each of the scientists but were i out having a meal with them i don't think i'd have a word to say, let alone understand what they are talking about. I love the fact that this was built with it having no economic purpose, and that being the reason the yanks cancelled building their own. Well made documentary, engaging characters and easy to understand. Even wonderful to see Higgs himself. Humble and very touched by the discovery of his atom. Couldn't have asked for anything more from this
Anxious about watching this. didn't want to see horses getting blown to bits. Only saw 2 horse deaths and they were both from exhaustion. Didn't see a single horse take a shit either. Which is strange because it's all i ever see them do up my way
Beleiving this to be a film for teenagers, i became inspired to watch it as a result of adult's who have seen it's opinion. Not so sure i was that convinced myself. 1st of all, the whole idea of kids killing kids left me feeling uncomfortable. And what kind of future is this where adults enjoy watching kids killing kids. Maybe i'm getting old, but i don't recall such a cruel movie. As a future, we are treated to the usual sterile, clean world where everything is made of cardboard and painted to look futuristic. Incredibly camp too. It had more of a Trueman Show about it than The Running Man. Over 2 hours long, i did get into it, but not as impressed as i was expecting, like Stardust for example. Best family movie i've seen for a long time. I'm just waiting for a movie set it a nice future. Maybe one set on E.T's planet. I doubt if they are into such blood sports.
