Earth to Echo

Earth to Echo

(2014)

Earth to Echo is a jumbled mess with no real value to it. In the style of "found footage" Echo start with a group of boys who's phones start to malfunction and realize that something bigger is going on when all of the families of their neighborhood are forced to move out to make way for a new "highway". The target audience for this movie is not very clear. It seems like it's supposed to be for younger kids, but then talks about drinking and other non children topics. The viewer can easily lose interest and let the mind start to wander away from the movie. Earth to Echo will be just that... an echo of E.T and all the other greats. Lost in time and forgotten.

Savages

Savages

Another Oliver Stone film at it's finest. A love triangle, drugs, and sex make up for fun times in Laguna Beach until their world comes crashing down around them. The Cartel is moving in on California soil and wants to join hands with Ben and Chon and have them keep growing the best they can all while teaching the Cartel how to grow quality marijuana. The two refuse and in return their shared girlfriend is taken hostage.Jumping through hoops and doing whatever need to get her back, they will stop at nothing. Savages is a wild ride in to the life of drugs, where no one can be trusted.

Sex Tape

Sex Tape

(2014)

A film that does get you to laugh on occasion, but does not do much to give the comedy genre a face lift or try to enhance it in anyway. A few funny one liners and some mediocre casting that barley keeps it afloat. Sex Tape follows Jay and Annie on their sex life from when it was amazing to the low point where it's almost non existent. The couple trys to revive themselves while making a sex tape that no one is supposed to see...obviously you can tell where this is going. ... Not the best flick of the year. Not the worst of the year either. Just forgettable.

The Expendables 2

The Expendables 2

A step up from it's predecessor. Even more action, violence and pointless bloodshed. That said not much is new, but does it have to be for a franchise based on loud noises and violence? The answer is no. Why change a formula that worked before? Don't!
