    The Thing (2011)

    Not quite the classic feeling of the original but this prequel is definitely still very well done. I have to say that the acting is much better. I got the sense that everyone was really on edge whereas I didnt feel that way about a lot of the characters in the first. All of the effects get a B+ (just not as scary using CGI) although the combined double human creature was pretty awesome. So, where this could have been a total dud, it definitely wasn't.
