This is a feel good movie... It manages to balance between being a drama and a comedy, dealing with a tragic event in a crazy way, it was sad and it was funny and at the end you leave with a smile... Jason Bateman and Tina Fey are great together, the whole cast is amazing... I liked it enough to give it a 7.5/10
It's an O.K movie, nothing that remarkable and the main twist you gonna get it from the first scene, so it wasn't that much of a reveal at the end :/ Ben Kingsley was great, but how his characters shattered at the end :/ Kate Beckinsale <3 she got her happy ending at the end :) Jim Sturgess was O.K... I expected more, as it was 'inspired' by an Edgar Allan Poe's shorts, but :/ it was just O.K I'll give it a 6/10
This is the paradox of all the time-travel paradoxes, it is quite silly but still a mind-blowing story, and it's another thing when you watch it :) I heard versions of it before, and so when a guy walk into a bar and start telling his story I remembered :) this might ruined it a little for me but still as I said it was another thing to watch it :) A short story was mentioned at the end, as the source material (All You Zombies - Robert A. Heinlein) it is also great! and it was published 1960 I think :)
Doctor Who "People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a nonlinear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff."
:D :D :D Never Do Yesterday What Should Be Done Tomorrow. If At Last You Succeed. Never Try Again. A Stitch In Time Saves Nine Billion. A Paradox Maybe Paradoctored. It Is Earlier When You Think. Ancestors Are Just People. Even Jove Nods.
I know where I came from - but where did all you zombies come from ? ...
Ethan Hawke, Sarah Snook did a great job, the Spierig brothers also in directing this tale :) I enjoyed it :) to give it an 8/10
This is Frank Miller's work, you see the pages of the comics live on the screen, every sub-plot was unique in its own way and each one could have been a stand alone movie :/ but everything was rushed to fit in a single line of action that didn't feel coherent and it was all over the place... Nevertheless, <3 EVA GREEN <3 Jessica Alba <3 Josh Brolin and Mickey Rourke were great, great cameo with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Lady Gaga :) in a scene :) the whole cast is great! But still, for the story the first part was better, as a movie this isn't one it was more a graphic novel with its pages playing on the screen, hope next time 'd be better :) I'll give it a 7/10
This is weird, very weird :/ :/ the attempt to make them real enough to be turtles and a rat were :/ :/ while the easy choice of a robot Shredder was unreal and robust :/ it takes sometime to get used to the turtles in their new gigantic, greenish form... One more downside is Megan Fox :/ she basically ruin everything :/ There were few funny moments but not enough to make it even a comedy :/ I didn't like it :/ I'll give it a 5/10
I hoped for this to be Sleepy Hollow of the Summer, it got promise when it first started then episodes goes long and all the glamour started to fade when it begun to not make sense :/ but they delivered a very good finally were evil prevail which is rarely happens in these kind of shows :) and I liked it so I think I'm singing up for season two... Still it's not as good as Sleepy Hollow which was one of the best new show of the year :) and being the first original series of WGN network it needed to be more or at least some how consistent over the season. Anyways I'll give it a 6.5/10
The first season was just great! a Stephen King novel with all its mystery, leaving us on a cliff hanger without any explanation or answers on the dome itself, the second season was to give us that, also I was excited when King himself appeared in the dinner at the premiere... but as it progressed it all started to fade :/ I didn't like what happened at the finale episodes nor the cheesy explanation on Miley, the door... but the finale scene of the season may brought the hope in the series back! giving them a way out then take it from them, might be good for the series :/ I don't know if it will be renewed or not but I think a wrap up finale season is due. The first season I'd give an 8/10. but for the second it will fall to 6/10.
The show was very promising in its premiere, another Stephen King adaptation to TV show, we got Halle Berry as the leading star, the premise of an alien offspring and a humanoid AI... But as the show progressed it lost most of its glamour with its double packed episode in couple of weeks, you kinda get the feeling that the network want it to end very fast, just to shock it off! It delivered a strong finale but on the whole course of 13 episodes I think they only got 4-5 good ones and the rest was :/ I don't think it deserves a renewal :/ A season is enough! and you kinda get that from the finale, some sort of a happy ending with a small lead to mystery that is not worth to follow it through :) I'll give it a 6.5/10
This is a new hit for Showtime :) the unique character of Eva Green, the kinda new take on Dr. Frankenstein and his monster, The wolf who we waited to the finale to see a glimpse of even Mr. Dorian Grey with a remarkable theme and back story this show wrapped it self in a very haunting and captivating way 3:) It's a very good horror story that can stand alone on its own with no comparison to be made and that's a great thing to achieve. The series was renewed after its forth episode :) and the finally came to pave the way to the new season and to put an end to the first arc. I hope next we get to see more of the wolf :), excited to see Frankenstein pride, the picture of Dorian Grey and what is the future hold for Miss Ives. A great first season ... 8.5/10
This is one of the best new shows this Summer... I liked the premise, how they laid it all out the turfs, the gangs, the squad, the undercover maul it all were great! plus the cast Terry O'Quinn the great Locke from Lost :) Ramon Rodriguez and Cliff Curtis... As the season progressed the story kept getting better in the main scheme and the side whined, the inner relations wasn't that great! but still the main picture was awesome! Till the pre-finale and the finale they were just awesome! with major surprises and turn points for everyone in the story... and the final o.o o.o scene I didn't expect that one!!! It was great enough to give it an 8.5/10 for a Summer show in its genre :) I hope it get renewed.
