Even though I've been here for awhile, this is my 1st review.

House of Flying Daggers

Ah, finally I saw it. And I was not disappointed by Yiou's direction. VIsually stunning and very well made, it does suffer from the "over long" complaint. But all and all, that is minor.

The beautiful landscapes of China and scenery seem to play a more prominent role here tehn it did in [u]Hero[/u], and the actors seem to just give life to the locations.

Acting: 8/10
Cinematography: 10/10
Music: 9/10
Direction: 9/10
Length: 7/10 (overlong...)
