I just got back from a free preview screening of Tony Scott's "Domino," and I am just irritated, to say the least. I only had modest expectations for the film (I liked the previews, and acknowledged the negative reviews without letting them sway my opinion), but this one was just a stinker - plain and simple.
The plot was completely incoherent, the entire movie was obnoxiously noisy (don't even get me started on the myriad rap "songs" throughout), and the editing was so erratic that it actually made the movie boring! I know that sounds strange, but when there are roughly six cuts for every simple action on-screen, it gets very tiresome very quickly. Throw in a large supporting cast of annoying characters (with Christopher Walken giving the worst performance of his career), and you've got one of the worst movies of the year.
