The reason I'm reviewing these movies together is a interesting story. See, I wanted to watch Princess Mononoke for awhile now cus I thought a saw some of it before but never saw the whole thing. Well, after watch Princess Mononoke, while being very good, it was not the movie I thought it was. Then in comes ThirdMan, the friend of mine I talk about alot it seems. *LOL* He had Ninja Scroll, and we made plans to see it cus it was another movie I wanted to see for awhile now. Before the movie I told ThirdMan of my blight with Princess Mononoke not being the movie I thought it was. I then went on to describe the character I remembered, ThirdMan told me that the guy I was talking about was in Ninja Scroll which made me want to watch it even more. Now that I'm done with that boring story, onto some boring reviews!
First up is Princess Mononoke. I loved the animation was great, but almost every anime has great animation. The story was also great, it had action adventure, and supernatural elements. The story also has an underlining meaning I think, really if deforestastion, or modern technology taking over, aren't meanings in this film, I'm sorry I thought they were. I'm not sure if I should describe the movie or not. I mean, if you wanted to about the movie, you could just click the link and reading about it, I'm just giving my opinion. Don't worry though, I'm just trying to save time, I might review this movie in depth later on.
Now Ninja Scroll is up. I'm not sure what to say, yet again the animation is great. The story is abit more mature the Princess Mononoke, so I would recommend watching this with young children. Ninja Scroll and Princess Mononoke are must watchs for any anime fan. So please go out and get them if you haven't already.
