    Silver Linings Playbook (2012)

I never thought that when I saw this on the same day I saw 'Killing Them Softly' that I would enjoy this movie more but I did, a lot more! The acting in this movie is superb. I could easily see Oscar nominations for Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Robert De Niro. This movie did a great job showing the way a person with mental illness can act and behave outside of a hospital setting. I should know as I have a degree in Psychology and I worked with the mentally ill for 8+ years. The interaction between the Pat and Tiffany character was very well done and very realistic. It did not feel contrived. The story had good layering and was not always predictable. The ending was somewhat predictable but also very satisfying.
