I can see why a lot of critics really enjoyed this it was highly entertaining and interesting. It was interesting to see she was not at all an overnight success and her story is was actually quite emotional. I also loved that she would often tape herself growing up and we get to see her reacting to hearing her song on the radio for the first time ever. Each life and career story is intermixed with live performance footage and the songs often relate to what is being talked about in the documentary since Katy writes about her life experiences in her songs. Very cool doc especially for her fans but really for anyone.
