Not as violent or gory as I thought it would be from what I had read. I loved Gladiator and Crouching Tiger and this is right up there with them. We watched it on Comcast last night and I truly wish I had seen it in the theater.
It's nice to see a movie for chicks that feels like it was made by chicks. And from what I've read it was, which is refreshing. I went with two friends to see this and we thought one of us was going to die she was laughing so hard. She was in the middle and my friend on her left kept telling her to breathe.
Loved the cop character - I hope there's a sequel where they marry and the bridesmaids get together and actually make it to Vegas and boo Celine (even though I liked Celine when Oprah interviewed her this year. It doesn't mean I have to listen to her warble and like it). But then I wouldn't see Bridesmaids 2. Let me think about this some more. There has to be a better story. Dollywood anyone?
