    The Artist (2011)

A beautiful, warm film that recalls the golden age of silent cinema with affection. Anyone who has been intrigued by this film and is not familiar with the wonders of silent filmmaking should seek out Kevin Brownlow's sweeping documentary of the silent era, "Hollywood". Sadly it's not available on DVD yet, due to the greed of some of the license holders but your local library may have the set on VHS.
