The Devil Wears Prada

The Devil Wears Prada

Meryl Streep is the best on-screen bitch out there today. Just when you think she is the devil herself, you start to feel sorry for her. Her performance alone elevates Devil several points. Emily Blunt as the anorexic coworker is pretty funny, Anne Hathaway is likeable, but her role is kind of the thankless straight man to all the crazyness around her. The material itself though, while enjoyable, is kinda bland. All in all though, not a bad way to spend a couple hours.

Click

Click

I heard some great word of mouth for Click before seeing it, I'm not sure what movie they watched. Click's first half is terrible, neither funny nor sweet. The movie saves itself somewhat though with a heartfelt message towards the second half. The real problem though is Click isn't as funny as it should be. There were all these moments when I knew I should be laughing, but the only people in the theater who did looked under 10. Maybe Click would have been better off trying to be a straight drama, although few people would have seen an Adam Sandler drama, it might have made a better movie.

Wow! This movie was everything I could've hoped for. Great action and romance. I'm not a comic book person, so I don't know if it was faithful or not, and I don't really care. My only problem was the length, it couldve been shorter.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch...

I really enjoyed this movie. It was kind of like Lord of the Rings for a younger crowd, I mean it's not nearly as good as LOTR, but fun all the same. The girl who played Lucy was excellent, as was the Witch. The other children were a little wooden, and some of the CGI was questionable, but overall a pretty magical experience.
