Well since body of lies came out i havent't read not a single one fair review.I don't know maybe it's the fantasy movies with a good moral ending that appeal to people now.But i'll tell why body of lies is one of the greatest spy trillers and definetely one of the best pictures of the year.In a time with all that magic, superheros and creatures comes a movie like body of lies with all that cynism, that drama about middle east and al quida.The movie doesn't give any results or solutions just because there is no solutions in real life.What monahan(scriptwriter) did is to take a great political book and made it an espionage triller.You know the only magic here is how al quida always manages to be one step further, the only creature here IS al quida and the only superheros are caught in a web of lies and the best part is that people never know about them.Roger Ferris is that man(leonardo dicaprio).He is a cia agent but he has something that makes him different than others bureocrats.He understands islam.He speaks the language.that's why Ed Hoffman(Crowe) makes him in charge of an operation in amman, to penetrate Al sulim an al quida leader.Ridley Scot once again shows that he is ne of the greatest filmmakers.It's the most accurate movie about the situation in middle east.Dicaprio's perfomance is something more that extraordinary.Well he is one of the greatest actors in film history and if argue with me that means you argue with Spielberg,Scorsese,Mendes,Scott,Deniro,Strip,Coppola(he made a review about dicaprio saying he is the best actor) and hundreds more.Russel crowe here also shines in ther small role he has and mark strong also.So i don;t see any reason the movie to be bad.Well i have to admit that the only flaw i noticed is that the movie never lets us know ferris better.I guess we have to wait for the unrated version(the one that scott wanted).So when americans became so bad viewers?I don't know...i hope that 'll change.And also don't listen to critics.Failure artists.JUst go see the movie and if you didn't liked it...then at least you'll educated on something.
