*Spoilers* I went to see The Dark Knight at a midnight release in imax on Thursday night/Friday morning. I waited in line for 2+ hours and it as completely worth it! I was gripping my seat the entire time i was there; I craved more. Many of the critics who watched this movie said that it was too long. I would gladly beg to differ. I thought that there could have been more and I still would have been pleased. Heath Ledger's last movie is his masterpiece. He hit the joker right on the head with this movie. I like Jack Nicholson as the joker, but nothing compares to the joker. Everytime the Joker was on stage I had goosebumps. I've never before laughed at someone, while at the same time been afraid of them. Unfortunately, the Joker didn't die so in the next movie they have to find someone to live up to the bar that Ledger has set for the character, or they would have to find some way of not showing him at all(probably locked up in Arkum.) Rarely, very rarely do sequels beat the original movie, but the Dark Knight definitely trumps Batman Begins, althought both were by far the best batmans out there, personally. Bale is the best batman, personally.
