This is the WORST of the series, and I enjoyed the series.
It bothers me, and it should be obvious to all, that all character development and thus acting ability and the effect of such in a tension driven movie, was completely ignored (which is not the case with the previous films). Considering MJ is Anderson's wife is even more of a surprise that this is the case, maybe they had an argument. So no matter if he vomited the script up after a pub crawl, or it was in a drunken stupor at home, it stinks.
And yes i did see it in 3d. Which is the films only grace, as it 2d eeeeech, the above paragraph becomes more apparent.
I suppose why it bothers me, is that he's shown he can do better with the same material, the same characters but this time just didn't care.
It's always sad to see when a writer/director does not care about the fans, just the $.
Its watchable, its enjoyable. The balance of humour, tension and surprise is not quite right, which is why its not a great movie. Which it really could have been because if Helen Mirren and Brian Cox can and do leave their counterparts in the dust, the Americans should have been on top form too. Qdos to Malkovich too.
Kevin James and Adam Sandlers company stole this script.
They are both scumbags, worst still NO TALENT scumbags.
Google "Paul Blart Stolen"... and you'll see its true, and Sony send an exec to see the original writer with their checkbooks ready, case they got their ass's sued.
There are critics who say it's immoral to have a 12 year old killing, well these people had better wake up.
The reason is simple, maybe one they know but don't want to see on screen like to frightening to handle, like its too close to reality.
You walk down certain street's, certain neighborhoods in the larger cities of America, and you'll see 12 year old's armed. If they kill you do you honestly think they'll care? No; they'll just move on. It's not only just in America, its in a lot of countries.
