Lee Daniels' The Butler

Tried to enjoy it but its so over the top inaccurate. The only thing right is that he was a butler for the white house

Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters

Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters

(2013)

This movie only has two redeeming qualities in my eyes. The first is they went with alot more practical effects and it wasnt a compelte cgi fest and the second is the white witch angle.

Other than that this movie is pretty bad. The actors do the best they can with this material which isnt much to say the least. I know the director is trying to do a stylish, dark humor version of the hansel and gretel story but fails miserably

The Oranges

The Oranges

This movie was a pretty big swing and miss. The cast is talented but the script is kind of poor. The movie is kind of taboo but it plays it kind of safe so its too much in between in terms of direction. Also I feel there really wasnt any chemistry and the movie just seemed awkward. There a few good scenes so thats why i didnt rate it lower

The Island

The Island

(2005)
13 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes

This movie started out with a lot of potential. The actual story of the island and the whole cloning idea for body parts and fooling the clones into thinking they could win a a trip to the island is a solid concept. It started out as a modern day logan's run but then devolves into one michael bay chase fest. This movie had so much potential with a good cast that was wasted. Until Michael Bay learns that more action isnt always a good thing he will never be a good director
