    The Amazing Spider-Man

    The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)

This movie gives me very mixed emotions. Lets start with the good. Garfield plays a great peter parker and emma stone is a good gwen stacey and they had great chemistry. Also the supporting cast was also very solid.

Now the bad. I felt as spiderman garfield didnt do a very good job. I appreciate the effort to make spiderman more sarcastic but the jokes were not funny and garfield's delivery was very poor. I thought when TM threw jokes in the original movies they were alot funnier and was better delivered.

I didnt like how they portrayed dr connors. This for me was the worst part of the movie and cg for the lizard was below industry standards.

Also whoever did the soundtrack should not allowed to come back for the next movie. It was beyond atrocious.

I also felt like the tone of the movie overall was a little too dark for my liking but i can deal with that as i like the realism they are portraying with it.

Also uncle ben's death should be the trigger for parker to become spiderman but it isnt which really was a bad decision

All that being said the performance by garfield as parker and his relationship with stacey and aunt may outweighed the negatives but they really need to do better for the second movie.
