Was I scared? Well, I jumped A LOT and felt this unease throughout. The only problem was that you knew when the scary stuff was coming, the plot felt like a series of scary moments strung together (which isnt too bad to be honest), and frankly, once you see [insert non-spoiler here] it looses a lot of its bite (I like my [insert non-spoiler here] kind of just out of sight to remain scary). Its not a classic, its not del Toro's best, but is well worth the ticket price and I did genuinely enjoy it... I just hope I can sleep tonight!
