My opinion of course, I feel Rises is the weakest of the trilogy.

Incredibly Trite writing. Typical of a romantic dramedy. Skip it!

After reading all three books, I was disappointed with part one. The casting was good, but the filming was horrible. Too many tight shots, jerking hand held cameras and not giving the viewer a broader look at the full environment. What a huge missed opportunity to film each of the tribute's faces and looking at each other as they enter the arena. Lenny Kravitz' performance was bland as well as Gale's.

The movie needed to be darker, the deaths more chilling, but that is probably the result for the PG13 rating. Too bad.

Great performance by Meryl Streep. Not overly deep on history but gives you insight on MT's life after politics.
