It's never too late to be young. We never stop playing because we grow old right? We grow old because we stop playing. The best of the Brits proves their bests can last forever. The English may not have that pop humor everybody else does, but theirs are just witty, rightful and classically entertaining.
Take comfort where you can find it right. It's very much entertaining with a very talented cast on perfect timing and chemistry fro Joseph Gordon-Levitt to Bryce Dallas Howard to everyone else. Anna Kendricks is still the best thing that ever came out of the Twilight series.
This is as much as one could expect from Baz Luhrman, great production, visual richness. Not as great as I HOPED it could be, not as lame as I THOUGHT it will be. It did went a couple of minute longer (or started too late, the introduction was a bit long and confusing, and a bit lost to where it's leading us). Luhrmann failed to showcase Gatsby in the eyes of Carraway as Christian did Satine in Moulin Rouge(2004). Although DiCaprio and Mulligan's performance is a solid as they've always done it. And credit for Carey Mulligan for fitting in well to a period set.
