    Gone With the Wind

    Gone With the Wind (1939)

gone with the wind is an Over-appreciated movie, to say the least. The fault does not lie with the director, or the actors, but with the writer. If you can look past the racism and historical and cultural inaccuracy, than this could be described as a major step forward in the film industry, as it is a major step forward in the film industry. This film is just to inaccurate for me to enjoy and for me to give it high marks. Any glorification of the cival war south and slavery is not all right in my book.

i guess i just can't understand how people just overlook the historical racism, bias and inaccuracy. but it is still well made for its time

    3 out of 5 stars
