What is it with pixar? I've yet to watch anything from them that I haven't absolutely loved.
Wait, I take that back. I loved the first half of Walle and was bored out of my mind during the second half. Up was great, even after its hype my expectations were more than met. The music's classy. Watch it, it's hard to imagine anyone disliking it. Thank you Pixar, Dreamworks you'd do well to take notes.
Half decent story with an improvement in visuals. It's not surprising with Guillermo del Toro as director, he has an eye for beautiful shots, i.e. Pan's Labyrinth. Golden Army is a much better movie than the first Hellboy.
Noir themed on high school territory. Brick is what 2006 needed. The music is unconventional matching the awkwardness most of the movie portrays. I'd highly recommend this to anybody.
My favorite Jackie Chan movie to date. It's easily in my top ten martial arts films. Who would've thought alcohol and karate would make for such a great combination?
