    End of Watch (2012)

    "End of Watch" 10 Scale Rating: 8.5 (Great) ...

    The Good: There is a small amount of sensationalism, but overall it is a very realistic film. The greatest part of the movie by far though is the camaraderie between Gyllenhaal and Pena. Beneath the grim and grit crime drama, there is actually a very good buddy movie.

    The Bad: Since it was filmed in "found footage" style, some of the camera angles are poor. This is to add to the realism, but in a few scenes it was very inconvenient. While it is a very realistic film, they add a little too much at times and it makes you wonder "does an LAPD officer really go through THIS much in one day?" ...
