Amidst the tale of survival, what I like most about this film is the subtle love story of Chuck. Perhaps one of the biggest dilemma any one could face, to live and die again. Truly heart breaking to watch.
Mads Mikkelsen is not bad at all in being the new Hannibal Lecter. It's a hard act to follow knowing the gracious performance of Hopkins but he did okay. Hugh Dancy on the other hand is nowhere near to Norton. Agent Graham might be afraid at times but not all the time. He's just pathetic. LOL.
Still it's a good story arc to follow. These detailed story of any psychopath's crims can't be done on film but only through a series. What's intruiging is how we can see how much of a foodie Hannibal is which is not seen so often in the film. A bit more polishing on the twist and it'll be as close to the film series' caliber.
The last season is full of thrills! Finally Walter has completely embraced his evil nature. Thought he only setback is the ending. It's quite disappointing. And I thought Walter has another scheme up his sleeve.
