30 Minutes or Less

Pretty funny and consistent.

The Adjustment Bureau

This movie just blew me away.

Apart from Joker's awful voice acting, this was really cool.

Not as funny as it could've been, but still manages to be decently funny.

Fifty Dead Men Walking

It's a bit slow, but still rather compelling to watch.

Tokyo Godfathers

Not boring. Quite good.

The Company Men

It's a bit slow, but it's okay.

An Inconvenient Truth

As a film about Justin Bieber, it's good. As just a film, it's not bad.

Gnomeo and Juliet

Lame. Dumb. Boring. Dumb. Dumb. And dumb.

Insidious (2011)

It beats many other recent horror flicks, but just barely.

Limitless (2011)

There are very little flaws worth mentioning. Overall good film.

The Invincible Iron Man

Horrible animation and a blemish on Iron Man's origin. I will never watch this again.

The Eagle
The Eagle (2011)

A few decent action scenes aren't enough to keep this interesting.

Defiance (2009)

I guess it was decent.

Monster (2004)

Although a bit slow, it was still pretty good.

Enchanted (2007)

Charming, as well as fun. Humor was great, acting was fine, and the story was engaging.

Nothing is wrong with this film.

WALL-E (2008)

It's amazing how a movie with little to no dialogue was able to keep you emotionally grasped entirely throughout.

Only Pixar can pull that off.

Iron Man
Iron Man (2008)

RDJ plays Tony Stark perfectly. This movie goes along with the greats in comic book films.

The Roommate
The Roommate (2011)

No matter how bored you are, don't watch this dumbass movie.

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

I see how it can be difficult to cram so many things into a less than 70 minute film, but I mea, it's an animated comic book movie. This is how it's supposed to be.

The Rite
The Rite (2011)

This was not spooky at all!

Gone Baby Gone

I like this film because it keeps you watching until it's over.

Paprika (2006)

Confusing, but cool.

It's not bad, but don't expect greatness.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

It is really long, but the story is told wonderfully.

Barney's Version

It is a bit long, but still good.

No Strings Attached

I didn't expect to like this one bit, but Portman really elevates this film into fresh territory.

Winter's Bone
Winter's Bone (2010)

It has a horribly depressing feel to it, but it all works in the films favor. Also, the acting is great.

After.Life (2010)

It can keep your interest, but it offers nothing to manage a better rating.

The Dilemma
The Dilemma (2011)

It's slow, but not boring. And it really isn't all that funny.

The Spirit
The Spirit (2008)

The only redeeming quality is the visual style, every other aspect of this film was weak.

Brokeback Mountain

This should have won Best Picture that year.

Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo

Fans of the show will love this, but it's nowhere near as good as any of the five season finales before it.

Green Lantern: First Flight

It isn't better or worse than the other DC animated films, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Unknown (2011)

I honestly couldn't buy the plot. It was also a little hard to sit through, with a lot of characters that I didn't care for.

Season of the Witch

There aren't any positive adjectives to use when describing this film. It was horrendous and boring.

Burn After Reading

I tried to like this as much as I could, but I just couldn't.

Ultimate Avengers: The Movie

It doesn't reach the entertainment level of the DC animated films, but it gets close enough.

Casino Jack
Casino Jack (2010)

Good acting alone isn't enough for this film. The plot is really complicated and it is rather boring.

Definitely, Maybe

Ryan Reynolds definitely carries this film. The supporting cast was perfect and the flow was great. Everything here works.

44 Inch Chest
44 Inch Chest (2010)

I wasn't fully engaged with this film, but the acting is very good.

Fame (2009)

It doesn't allow you to care deeply enough for any of the characters and it progresses too fast for comfort, but nonetheless, the movie is meant to be seen for the performing arts. And with that, the movie succeeds.

Milk (2008)

This was a good film already, but with Sean Penn's performance as Harvey Milk, it only gets better.

Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman (2009)

Strong in animation, plot, voice acting and action sequences, Wonder Woman is definitely one of the better DC animated films.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

It has mediocre animation and a bland plotline. Even the voice acting is dull. Definitely skip this one.

[Rec] (2007)

It does the handheld camera thing nicely and better than many other films.

Brothers (2009)

I don't think I can word it better than the RT consensus. The acting is great, but it does wander into melodrama territory at times.

Beastly (2011)

Not as bad as I expected it to be, but there really is no reason to see this.

Batman Gotham Knight

The animation definitely works for this film. It makes for one of the best DC animated movies.

Untraceable (2008)

This was just really boring. As a thriller film, it doesn't even get close to suspenseful.

The Reaping
The Reaping (2007)

Was this supposed to be a horror movie? Because it's not a very good one.

Babel (2006)

It moves along a bit slow, but it's interesting to see the storylines all tie together.

Fish Tank
Fish Tank (2010)

Although I praise the performances, gritty atmosphere, and well-crafted storyline, the movie progresses rather slow for my taste.

Justice League: The New Frontier

It plays itself out well, but didn't focus on the heroes enough as a team.

All the Boys Love Mandy Lane

Not very interesting overall, but it does have enough elements of good horror films that may keep you mildly satisfied.

Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

I wasn't expecting to find this funny, but there were many times that I couldn't stop myself from laughing.

21 Grams
21 Grams (2003)

Not entirely a bad film, I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy it.

Inglourious Basterds

I don't have much to say about this film other than that it is emotionally gripping. The dialogue also keeps you engaged.

Halloween (2007)

This is the stupidest horror movie I've ever seen.

The Devil's Rejects

There is nothing to enjoy about this disgusting movie.

Nowhere Boy
Nowhere Boy (2010)

Nowhere Boy is a great insight into the adolescence of music legend John Lennon, both wonderfully told and emotionally gripping.

Superman: Doomsday

Very action-packed and fun to watch.

Teeth (2007)

More disturbing than it is compelling, Teeth is nothing more than a twisted take on an already creepy myth.

Punisher: War Zone

This movie doesn't try to be good. And as a bad movie, it works.

Bobby (2006)

Not exactly the best movie, but definitely far from the worst.

Green Lantern
Green Lantern (2011)

It isn't all bad, but it is missing that special flare that other superhero movies have.

Slither (2006)

Just a decent flick to me.

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead

I didn't like this as much as I was expecting to, but it still was very interesting to watch.

Holy Rollers
Holy Rollers (2010)

This doesn't excel at anything, but it is rather interesting.

Night Catches Us

I wasn't particularly amazed, but this was good.

The Fog
The Fog (2005)

It plays a little too close to horror film formula to be anything other than ridiculously lame.

Marwencol (2010)

A fascinating look into personal tragedy and artistic value. The film handles its subjects very well.

X-Men: First Class

I have tons of complaints about this film, but ultimately, it wasn't that bad.

Super 8
Super 8 (2011)

I can appreciate the nostalgia this film brings.

Mou gaan dou (Infernal Affairs)

Hong Kong story-telling at its finest.

Snakes on a Plane

Snakes in a dumb movie.

Crazy Heart
Crazy Heart (2009)

Nobody could've played this role better than Jeff Bridges. And only he could transcend this move to what it's become.

The Descent
The Descent (2006)

It's a lot better than most horror films, but still nothing particularly special.

Battle in Seattle

I didn't expect to like this as much as I did, which was a nice surprise.

Kingdom of Heaven

All I remember is the costumes, setting, and boring dialogue.

Rendition (2007)

Absolutely boring. Nothing could redeem this film.

Defendor (2009)

It's amazing how you can care so deeply for a character like Defendor. The movie is definitely worth watching.

Bug (2006)

I thought this was building up to something huge, but it ended up leaving me with a sense of dull regret.

Frost/Nixon (2008)

I really liked this movie a lot.

Lucky Number Slevin

A clever script, but the plot is a little over-the-top.

Thor (2011)

One of the best superhero debuts to date.

Scream 4 (2011)

Despite what you may think, Scream 4 is actually very fun.

Source Code (2011)

I found it very enjoyable! The story is extremely compelling.

Great movie.

The Green Hornet

Not exactly bad, but not good. It's actually really annoying at times.

Tron Legacy
Tron Legacy (2010)

The visuals do a lot for the film, but this is just okay.

The King's Speech

It's an interesting movie with a strange visual style, but it all works for the best.

Faster (2010)

For a mindless action thriller, it isn't all that bad.

The Next Three Days

I don't know what to say. It just wasn't very good.

127 Hours
127 Hours (2010)

It's very strong in all aspects, just not as compelling as it can be.

It isn't a dramatic as you want it to be, which turns out is a bad thing.

I Spit On Your Grave

It isn't a bad movie, just a ridiculous one.

This was actually very boring for me. It wasn't that gross either. Just bland.

This could've been better if the acting wasn't so weak.

The Wrestler
The Wrestler (2008)

Rourke's performance is flawless.

I'm Not There
I'm Not There (2007)

A good film for fans of Dylan's work, but confusing for those that aren't.

Scream 3 (2000)

It's a drop from the others, but still not bad.

Four Lions
Four Lions (2010)

Definitely a better film than it lets on. Very good.

Fast Five
Fast Five (2011)

It's the only FF movie worth watching.

Sucker Punch
Sucker Punch (2011)

If it weren't for the weak story, this would've been good.

Battle: Los Angeles

I liked it for the action scenes... But that's it.

The Fighter
The Fighter (2010)

Powerful and emotional performances throughout.

Let Me In
Let Me In (2010)

Owes a huge debt to the young stars, and provides an exemplary film.

Catfish (2010)

There's a lesson somewhere in here.

Easy A
Easy A (2010)

Emma Stone's charm goes a long way.

Animal Kingdom

What more do you want?

Good Hair
Good Hair (2009)

You probably have to be the target audience to enjoy thoroughly, but an otherwise good film.

Man on Wire
Man on Wire (2008)

A well-crafted doc.

Tangled (2010)

This is exactly what you want from Disney.

Black Swan
Black Swan (2010)

Amazingly better than expected.

Push (2009)

It's unfinished. Let's just leave it at that.

Ninja Assassin

When it comes to action, this delivers. But everything else, no.

Buried (2010)

Every bit of tension adds up, and it pleases. Not one bit disappointing.

The Disappearance of Alice Creed

It's got enough surprises to keep people entertained throughout.

Harry Brown
Harry Brown (2010)

A gritty, yet fine example of Caine's acting.

Centurion (2010)

Nameless characters that aren't even of importance. LAME.

Unstoppable (2010)

A better train movie than Denzel's other efforts.

Howl's Moving Castle

By far one of Studio Miyazaki's best.

Ponyo (2009)

I've never been so happy watching a movie.

Raging Bull
Raging Bull (1980)

One of the most violent portayals of any character I've seen... And emotionally powerful.

Pathfinder (2007)

If only they put more thought into this movie, it oculd've been good.

Rambo: First Blood Part II

You know who Rambo is, now watch him roar.

All About Steve

It wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be, but you can live without seeing it.

Skyline (2010)

If I'm waiting for all the characters to die, then it's a bad movie.

The Notebook
The Notebook (2004)

Definitely one of the better love stories I've heard.

Megamind (2010)

Dreamworks, you can do better.

Due Date
Due Date (2010)

I couldn't decide whether or not I was enjoying this movie until about the last ten minutes or so... But overall, it's not bad.

Food, Inc.
Food, Inc. (2009)

It does it's job as a documentary by informing the audience, but I'm too used to having a subtle sense of humor included, one that this movie didn't have.

In Bruges
In Bruges (2008)

A good movie, but you'll need patience to sit through it.

Saw 3D
Saw 3D (2010)

This is just more of what you've seen in all the previous Saw movies.... Minus the 3D.

Fast Food Nation

It just drags on and on and on...

Red (2010)

Better than I thought it would be.

Paranormal Activity 2

It isn't scary, but that doesn't mean it's not good... In fact, it's an improvement upon the original.

Sunshine (2007)

It was interesting, but I felt a little bored during some parts.

Jackass 3
Jackass 3 (2010)

The stunts are either hit or miss... While few were spot on, the majority were just boring. :/

My Soul to Take

This was just emotionless.

Little Miss Sunshine

Cleverly written with a funny cast... What's not to like?

The Social Network

I can't even begin to explain how much I enjoyed this... Although, I don't think everyone will be able to understand. I had to explain it to a lot of people. -__-

Good movie though.

Case 39
Case 39 (2010)

This is the type of movie you watch when you want to make fun of how pathetic the human race is.

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole

The animation was awesome... But everything else was boring. And I like owls!

The Town
The Town (2010)

I thought everything was great.

Devil (2010)

Eh, I just couldn't bring myself to care... A lot of what was going on didn't seem to make sense, but that's probably because I got so bored I stopped listening.

Resident Evil: Afterlife

They stray too far from the video games, and these movies seem to get more and more dull every time.

Dragon Wars
Dragon Wars (2007)

This was the dumbest thing I've ever seen in my life.

The American
The American (2010)

I was really bored, and I'm not a big enough fan of Clooney to give it a chance.

Takers (2010)

Mindless, predictable, and ridiculously dull are just a few of the words to describe this movie.

The Last Exorcism

This barely hits the mark of "fresh."

It was kinda boring until about halfway through, and then it just gets a little out of hand... It leaves you wanting more by the time the credits roll. In a bad way.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

The characters are played well, but it seemed like the movie ran out of ideas about halfways through.

Religulous (2008)

An interesting and funny documentary... It pokes fun at every religion, and you end up really happy about it.

The Last Song
The Last Song (2010)

If you like bad acting, then go for it.

Piranha 3-D
Piranha 3-D (2010)

I knew going in that this movie would be ridiculous, I just didn't know what level of ridiculousness it would be at. Turns out that Piranha 3-D is basically a porno, a bloodbath, and a cheesy B-movie mixed into one. And it plays out pretty well.

Lottery Ticket

This movie is a lot like Friday... And it isn't half bad, to tell the truth.

Thank You for Smoking

You can learn a lot from this movie, in which the characters are strong, and so is the story.

Vampires Suck
Vampires Suck (2010)

I'd like to apologize to the part of my brain that will remember this movie.

Meet the Spartans

The spartans are the last people you should want to meet!

Total Recall
Total Recall (1990)

I was really into this when I saw it a long time ago, haha.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

The visual style of this film was just awesome.. I was into this movie every second.

The Expendables

No one should expect anything more than the 80's style action sequences, and if you watch this with that in mind, you will have fun.

Sure, it's dumb. But it's not meant to be anything more.

The Other Guys

I wasn't too excited to see this, but it turned out to be pretty funny... Had a lot of pop culture references, aha.

Land of the Lost

I'll praise the cinematography. A lot of the camera angles were impressive, but almost every other aspect of this film was entirely weak.

Dinner for Schmucks

It hurt to see such great characters made fun of so relentlessly, which was a huge drawback in the film. But overall, it was good.

Underdog (2007)

I'll admit that I laughed at the stupidest jokes, but I was in a good mood when I watched this, so maybe that's why.

Salt (2010)

The plot is way too out there for this to be good... I mean, it's not plausible in the very least. The action is good, but this movie offers nothing more.

Inception (2010)

It's pretty thrilling to say the least.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

Alfred Molina really got into character here, which I just had to point out.

The CGI is everywhere, which is one of the coolest parts of the movie. But if a movie needs visual effects to be good, then it isn't quite good now, is it?

What really worke for me is the characters though.. They're all really likeable, but it isn't enough to outweigh the nonsensical plot. Also, I really like how they feature the song "Secrets". That's one of my favorite OneRepublic songs.

Predators (2010)

It could've made better use of its characters, but regardless, this was fun.

Despicable Me
Despicable Me (2010)

The pacing seemed too fast, and the accents that the characters have is annoying. And the whole movie seemed to go on for a while with nothing really going on. But everything that was bad with this film was completely overruled by what made it great.

Although the characters all seemed underdeveloped, the little girls were adorable and extremely charming. This movie isn't anywhere near perfect, but it has it's heart in the right place and it surely delivers.

The Last Airbender

I have so many complaints for this movie, none of which that I'm willing to state without clear profanity.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

I watched the first Twilight movie, and I thought it was alright. I watched New Moon, and I was so disappointed that I didn't want anything to do with Twilight.

But I'm not a Twihard, and I'm not a Twihater.

This film really redeemed itself from the last one, and gives a good mixture of love and action.

The acting is kind of bland and emotionless, while the script isn't anything special. But I can say that I no longer hate Taylor Lautner... I really hated seeing him onscreen but this time around, he really gives it his best shot. And he was probably the best actor here, but that's not saying much... I just wish he would wear a shirt. The shirtlessness is unnecessary.

The film has many flaws, but it's not bad at all.

Grown Ups
Grown Ups (2010)

While I enjoyed it more than most Sandler comedies, a lot of the cheap gags weren't very funny...

But I must say, Salma Hayek was the best part of the movie. She's gorgeous.

Knight & Day
Knight & Day (2010)

Eh.. I guess I'm too used to seeing Cruise do action flicks better than this, so I was a little disappointed.

Jonah Hex
Jonah Hex (2010)

This was messy.

Horribly messy.

The Karate Kid

My biggest problem with this movie is that the actors seem too young... I know the title has 'kid' in it, but these kids are acting like assholes, beating each other up, and Smith tries to woo his little girlfriend. Kids don't act like that. Secondly, Smith tries too hard to carry on his father's attitude, and it doesn't feel right when he does his little jokes. And why does the movie take place in China? They moved there for no reason at all. Not to mention the length was ridiculous.

On the bright side, the cinematography is cool, as well as the fight scenes and upgraded storyline. The chemistry between Chan and Smith also works well.

The A-Team
The A-Team (2010)

Although the action scenes aren't very plausible, The A-Team is mindless summer fun.

Splice (2010)

I wish it went further into its premise, but it's good for what it's worth.

Killers (2010)

I didn't expect much, but even the first five minutes were horrible.

Get Him to the Greek

Wildly funny, with great performances by the lead roles.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Not great, but definitely an improvement on video game adaptations.

Shrek Forever After

Doesn't have much of the same elements that made the first so memorable.

MacGruber (2010)

For a movie like this to work, the protagonist needs to be likeable... Sadly, this is not the case.

The shock value doesn't work as humor either.

The Losers
The Losers (2010)

You'll definitely going to have to turn your brain off for this one.

Repo Men
Repo Men (2010)

This could've gone a lot farther than it did. Plus, the ending leaves you unsatisfied.

Valentine's Day

Although it has a talented cast, this film seemed too desperate to deliver its message in the most inadequate ways.

Youth in Revolt

Smarter than the average comedy, but this doesn't hold the same amounts of laughter found in other films.

Death at a Funeral

Not nearly as humorous as the cast makes it out to be.

Robin Hood
Robin Hood (2010)

The cool sword fights and acting don't make up for this boring, slow-paced film.

Iron Man 2
Iron Man 2 (2010)

Not quite up to par as the first, but it gets the job done.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

Better than the Halloween and Friday the 13th reboots, but this one still failed to please.

Although, I approve of Jackie Earle Haley as the new Freddy, and the visual effects were appealing.

Kick-Ass (2010)

With a perfect mixture of violence and comedic behavior, this movie plays out well.

Date Night
Date Night (2010)

Why weren't these two paired together sooner?

Couples Retreat

The characters are likeable, but the entire film overall just doesn't cut it.

Clash of the Titans

I watched this for the action scenes, and that's what I got.

I was satisfied.

How to Train Your Dragon

This movie had great animation and voicework, with a script that excels beyond Dreamworks previous animated films.

How To Train Your Dragon is by far their best effort towards animation, definitely surpassing Shrek.

Hot Tub Time Machine

I really enjoyed this movie.. I was really surprised by how much I liked it. There were so many funny moments, it was awesome.

She's Out of My League

Very formulaic, but the message has its charm.

Green Zone
Green Zone (2010)

I didn't quite understand the political theme it was portraying, but the swift action cleared for many faults.

Alice in Wonderland

Easy on the eyes, but not in anything else.

Cop Out
Cop Out (2010)

Not really.

Shutter Island

Admittedly not Scorsese's best, but this psycological thriller keeps you entertained.

Sherlock Holmes

Robert Downey Jr. has begun another franchise. ;D

Avatar (2009)

Visually impressive and packed with great action scenes. The weakest link is the dialogue, and the rest of the film pretty much nullifies that fact.

The Lovely Bones

A bit slow, but Peter Jackson's style saves this film from complete absurdity.

Armored (2009)

Nice premise, even though the execution needed work.

The Princess and the Frog

The 2D animation worked really well here. :)

Fantastic Mr. Fox

I laughed more times than I would've guessed.

This film was great.

2012 (2009)

Cool visual effects, but lame story.

Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire

Pretty depressing, but the performances were exceptional.

Saw VI
Saw VI (2009)

The series is just killing in gruesome ways... So if you're into that stuff go ahead.

Where the Wild Things Are

Although not what I expected, the movie was surprisingly good.

Zombieland (2009)

The humor didn't strike me as all that funny, but I had my share of laughs.

The Invention of Lying

This wasn't that bad, to be honest.

Capitalism: A Love Story

The least interesting of Moore's documentaries, but still interesting nonetheless.

Paranormal Activity

It may have been overhyped, but it was a well made film.

Jennifer's Body

The screenplay was cool.... That's all.

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs

It was a little short, but oh well.

9 (2009)

The best thing about this one is the animation.

Gamer (2009)

You won't like this movie at all.
