A few weeks ago, I had a kidney stone. It was horrible pain. The one thing I knew, however, was that it would end. I can't say the same about this movie.
Luckily, I did not bring a note book, because I had a crap load of stuff to say. I still like the first one, but the rest are horrible (I never saw the third, but I can guess). This was one of the hardest movies I have ever had to sit through, but I did it.
Gene Siskel used to say "Is this movie as good as the same actors having lunch together?" With great actors like Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammer, and Stanley Tucci, I would have paid DOUBLE to see them talking with each other at lunch (even just seeing them chew food would be better).
I give it a half star because the special effects were decent. Still, I end by paraphrasing Groucho Marx: "Either this horrible movie is dead, or my watch has stopped."
