hum....what a horrible disaster this movie was. Daniel Craig is all wrong for this part he's way too British, and tries to copy Eastwood's attitude in his superior Western's but can't capture it at all and the amnesia stuff was pretty stupid his attempt at an American accent is atrocious and really hampers the movie, it's like Connery or Caine trying to do accents it never works, should just stick to British roles.
Harrison Ford is completely unbelievable and the town barron and comes off like he's trying to be Henry Fonda From Once Upon a Time in the West, but without any of the passion or the acting skills, which has been almost every acting performance by him for the last decade at the least and goes from overly evil to being a good guy, in the lamest way possible.
Keith Carradine is probably the best of the entire cast and actually is great in his brief parts, but gets too little screen time, Clancy Brown goes a good job as the town preacher who doles up old sagely wisdom but the less said about Dano the better.
The alien plot is rather silly and never really make sense and the Aliens come off very weak and non-threatening and the most ridiculous alien design I've ever seen. Overall a very cheesy movie that totally fails at being an action western trying to be a mix of the Man with No Name trilogy and Silverado mixed with Independence Day but fails in aspects. Maybe the most disappointing film of 2011.
