a flair for action sequences, squeezing tension out of every fight scene. relatively solid throughout and despite its general lack of originality it is an entertaining and gripping film with assured direction
The visioals were prefect in every frame, and the music is absolutely great. But Stiller should have been kept away from this one and we might have ended up with something great. His touch as a director and an actor made the film shallow.
Technically, this is a hugely impressive film but it still left me feeling a little underwhelmed. We get the predictable plot points - storms, sharks, close calls with passing ships - but it feels like a uniquely handmade artifact.
Epic. A pleasure to the ee and the ear. The film captures the best scenes in a Metallica concert. although the narrative part was good on its own. adding it to the film and being so short almost made it unnecessary.
Enough Said is a romantic comedy about hurting the people you love, who you want to love - and making mistakes that may be impossible to recover from. The easy chemistry between Louis-Dreyfus and Gandolfini is wonderfully charming
a film of dark fantasy, romantic passion and an infectious love of dance, music and cinema. .watching the movie you still get the feeling that Technicolor was invented for it. and what a performance by Mr. Anton Walbrook.
simple, charming and has plenty of heart. it tickles your soul and connects you with the characters. by the time it ends I felt like I have been stabbed in the heart. although the film reaches a high level of charm but still there could be more of that.
seems like a lot of money was paid to produce this cheesy, unconvincing film. The great cast and big names on this film seems to serve no purpose other than creating the illusion that this is a fine film. the story is terrible and full of flaws from the over view to the very smallest detail in every scene.
pretty good in the core. New World might have some flaws and imperfections especially in directing, there could have been more to be done with it to make even better. still a good film spiced up with awesomeness. satisfying.
75 minutes of pure brutality, violence and shocking events. This epic movie has more than it's normal fair share of blood and darkness. never seen a batman like this before. as a cartoon based on a comic book this is good stuff.
even though I wasn't expecting much, the film turned out to be a total disappointment. It certainly lacks charm in too many ways. the acting was bad and then there was the overuse of unnecessary special effects.
fluent, charming and precise family portrait that celebrates ordinary life with all its joys and chaos. Every beat and every image and every cut and every note feels like a part of a whole. It is a total movie.
The best thing that was really good in this film was the music. Warm bodies adds a new twist to the zombie genre by viewing the world through the eyes of a zombie. the film started by looking a bit disappointing but it got better.
Absolutely brilliant every way. Solid performances and good screenplay. could be unsatisfying but that comes from the fact that this based on true events and when u know that you should not have a problem with accepting every part of it , and it makes the film stronger and more striking.
More than just a good comedy romance. this film has drama , emotions and a touching story. Good performances by almost everybody. Cooper was perfect for his role and De Niro did great as well but the most outstanding performance in the film was Lawrences,
Beautiful classic film. Bullitt might be slow and a little bit quite but it delivers power especially through Yates directing and his great shots. The car chasing scene is was really good and i found it iconic.
