Full of suspense, thrills, old-fashioned action, and a lot of surprises. The Winter Soldier makes the first Captain America look like a film student's project! This movie literally stepped it up in every way and takes its rightful place as one of Marvel's best! You'll walk out exhausted but satisfied. And stick around for the credits, it's totally worth it!
A phenomenal cinematic masterpiece! It's so nice to see a popular teen novel adaptation that isn't about stupid vampires! The Girl on Fire is burning up! Far superior to the already superior first Hunger Games movie. And with none of the shaky cam! The romance was also brought out more in this, and I mean the whole love triangle. It also explores the rest of the nation of Panem and shows how deeply affected Katniss and Peeta were by their traumatic experience in the first movie. The ending also delivers a very dark and satisfying cliffhanger! I recommend this 100%
I was very disappointed and I didn't expect much to begin with. The romance was honestly uncomfortable to sit through because it was ridiculous. The friends of the main characters were seen even less than in the first movie. Not too mention the overuse of comedy to cover up the huge flaws. Don't even get me started with the villain. Malekith was such a weak character! He had few lines, the parts when he spoke elvish was annoying as shit. His motive, to destroy the universe or the world, or whatever. So predictable: "...your world will be extinguished!" I mean, what the fuck?!the mid-credits scene was dumb too, not that I didn't understand it but I wasn't impressed like in the Avengers credit scene.
