I'm still chewing on the following fact: how could it be this good? It's super funny, it has delicious details and the 3D gives it top level visuals. I cannot see another actor to play Peter Quill now that Chris Prat shone in the role. Last, but not the least, the music. In space life, the 80's could seem very boring, but are they actually? Hell NO! It's perfect, delightful, and one of those details that make this film excellent!
As a film, it is not bad but... Hercules = Mythology, which is not present in this film. On the contrary, it dis-mystifies the myths. The message is clear, but it was definitely not the right content to give it. Taking the magic away from Greek mythology is something you just cannot do. How to undo this? Make a second, clear this awful mistake.
The concept is just fantastic, that kind of "survival under apocalypse" that was far from our idea but not from Bong Joon-ho's. Then the germination to the outcome is just perfect. Prepare your emotions and get ready to hold on to your chair, because this one will make you sweat!
