The Perks of Being a Wallflower

The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012)

It was an alright movie, but everything is too neatly packaged, and the writing is hokey in some places. All the characters' memories are too easily accessible and anecdotal, and the conversations that ensue amongst them feel scripted. The whole 'feeling of being 16' thing was great, so that justifies the style to some degree- but some realism was sacrificed in the process.
