    Batman Begins

    Batman Begins (2005)

The film goes far, far deeper into the way a hero must think and the way they must fight crime than most superhero films do which makes this film kind of unique to the genre through thought provoking dialogue and emotional and fearful flashbacks that all lead up to the birth if the greatest vigilante in the fictional world. BB is also somewhat complex, and may take a couple more watches to completely follow along with it. Even if that may bore people, complexity and not simplicity is usually a good thing. There's good action, but not as action-packed as a Batman movie should be, IMO. A real bonus to the film is the all-star cast and great acting, mostly from Bale. There aren't many flaws in BB, but it wasn't comparable to the animated films. 82/100
