You have to have read the book to really appreciate this movie. At the same time, you'd be disappointed in the amount of material left out of the movie. All in all, the cast nailed the characters and it was definitely the Perks even without a lot of the development and open-ended questions from the book.
An obviously biased conspiracy theory created by a guy that said himself he hardly understands American culture, which is evident when he debated Jesse Jackson and seriously suggested America is completely devoid of constricting racism today. D'Souza further shows his ignorance by completely failing to research a majority of the people he interviewed. This includes George Obama who D'Souza claims is being financially punished by Barrack Obama for not supporting his "anti-colonial" views, when in reality George Obama's decision to live in Nairobi is one he made himself as an activist. D'Souza's only support for his entire theory that Obama is an anti-colonial socialist "like his father" is based on some crackpot theory from a psychologist who suggested Obama Jr. could want to be like Obama Sr. because of his absence.
