i didnt see the original, and i am not planning on seeing it (stop-motion creeps me out). this movie was awesome. i didnt worry about the plot. the special effects.. were awesome. i dont get the people who say they were bad. this movie is just an awesome thrilling greek mythology movie, and i am eager to watch the sequel

you can tell that its more or less the same as the first, except a bit more ridiculous and bizarre. that makes it feel 'been there, done that'. also, few major differences from the first: different setting, different person missing, different person getting married. so... verdict.... not as good, surprising, original and funny as the first installment, but ive seen worse and its funny if you wanna see a crazy comedy. i gotta admit though, if the next sequel will be the same again, this franchise will lose its reputation.

while funny as it is, i cant help feeling that there are a few little things missing... i still loved it, and it has become one of my favourites.

this movie feels very different from the others, which it basically is. but it is really fun to watch. i would have given it something like a 3.75 if i could.

a slight drop in quality from the 2nd film, but this one is also great. the story of davy jones ends with probably the most epic battle ive ever seen in a movie. really really good movie, this one.... savvy?
