I honestly don't see why people say this movie is so bad. Some people were giving this movie bad reviews before it even came to theaters! They could at least watch it and give it a chance! Perhaps it depends on the viewer. I loved The Incredibles and Brave, which are definetly action packed movies from Pixar, so perhaps I'm destined to love Cars 2. The plot was written well. It had me intrigued, (spoiler alert) thinking Professer Z was the one who planted the bomb, but it ended up being Miles Axelrod. Besides, if the movie has a lot of Mater in it, obviously someone had to like Mater enough for him to be a main character and have his own mini T.V. series. I'm glad Chick Hicks wasn't in this movie. Franceso was a better rival. He's less mean, but as Lightning said, "Here comes the insult." He's bound to slip in a little joke or implied rudeness. Compared to the first Cars movie, this movie kept up the pace, while in Cars I got bored in some places. The only two things I didnt like about Cars 2 was there wasn't as much LightxSally as in the first movie. However some of my favorite LightxSally quotes are from Cars 2. The other thing that was sad is they didn't have Doc Hudson because Paul Newman died. I still feel it wouldn't be right to try to find someone to replace the voice of Doc. It would never be quite the same. I'm glad they did reference him a few times. Overall, 4.5/5 stars!

Great animation and details! For any lover of Scottish lore (or one who's ancestors are Scottish) this is the perfect movie! I love the independent Merida. This an awesome movie for Pixar's first fairytale! Very intense with its action, which makes the story overflowing with a plot that will captivate anyone! However, I was quite surprised by the crude jokes Pixar had in this movie. They were much worse than Ive ever seen since The Incredibles bloopers.
