    Reservoir Dogs (1992)

Sadistic, funny, and lightly introspective all at the same time, Reservoir Dogs is an entertaining heist movie that's more about the criminals themselves involved in the crime than the heist itself, which isn't shown. The dialogue flows excellently, the action is well-staged and timed perfectly and music is infused with the super-cool mood of the film. Its surprising what Tarantino can do with so limited a budget. The acting is top-notch as well, as each crook is convincing in both speech and ethics, and they each vary quite differently in the second category.
