Kaub˘i Bibappu: Tengoku no Tobira (Cowboy Bebop the Movie: Knockin' on Heaven's Door)

Kaub˘i Bibappu: Tengoku no Tobira (Cowboy Beb... (2003)

The animation is as smooth as silk, the soundtrack is a bit weak (compared to the series), but let's brush that aside for a moment, and focus on the min attraction: the characters. Spike Spiegel is a lanky, fuzzy-haired cowboy, who is suprisingly good at martial arts and what's more: he's super badass. Jet is the (more or less) rational one on the crew, the ex-cop with a gruff voice and a fake arm. Faye Valentine is the curvy one, who is both delicate and tough, and a bit temeramental. Radical Ed is... well, he's Ed. A teenage girl with wild hacking skills and an eccentric demeanor, she's pure gold every second she's on screen.
I liked the film, mostly because of the crew, but the plot, the style also had me hooked.
