Typical comedy that revolves around a lot of slapstick, cussing and odd twists and mishaps to make the film more interesting. This film creates your perfect "fake" suburban familia to smuggle in drugs into the US from Mexico. Funny and entertaining.
Quite an odd story, although I did enjoy it quite a bit. The film revolves around a young couple struggling with finances, who eventually get lucky with an antique brass teapot that makes money for them when someone or themselves are hurt.
A classic Lynch phenomenon that dwells into the mysteries of exquisite protagonist Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee). The movie shows us everything that is dark, twisted and haunted underneath Laura Palmer's life, which is generally covered by a superficial teenage perfect lifestyle. The graphical violence, sex, horrific music, neon strobe lighting and overall cinematography adds a great sense of aura to the film. This film would not be anything more without any of these. Quite confusing at times, Lynch has managed to create an interesting discussion with this one just like his other dreamy works.
