85% "Percy Jackson is a BIG improvement over the first movie. It's closer to the books but still not perfect. Some of the effects look fake though they are cool and cartoonish(that's a positive). I did have some problem with Jake Abel's acting but he did okay. The rest did fine but Stanley Tucci and Nathan Fillion stand out. Had a blast with this movie."
50% "An amazing film to look at with great performances and a cool soundtrack but the characters are just metaphors, it's violence goes too far and it's sometimes style over substance. A great film to examine though. Not as good as Drive."
70% "An entertaining movie at times but it drags on at some moments. The last 10 minutes was the best part. Johnny Depp is funny as usual but Armie Hammer doesn't quite have skills to be the Lone Ranger. Still entertaining."
