I've used corn syrup and food coloring... but I'm not sure how that comes out of clothes to tell the truth.

I'd like to hear more.

I have quite a bit of experience with fake blood and soon will have much more. In the past I have used corn syrup and food coloring, but that stains like a bastard. It even stains your skin. Nevertheless, it does look absolutely wonderful on video. I think for this upcoming project im doing I am going to add soap to the first batch and see how that washes off. I will report back when I do and tell you guys how it works. -Arie

Real blood washes out fine..... haha.... but seriously, Kool Aid blood seems to wash out okay. Basically boil water and add 1 cup of flour, then add a package of cherry KoolAid and some green food colouring to darken. That's it.

I wouldn't think that's thick enough though.

Boiling reduces it to whatever consistency you want. Just keep on boiling until you get it how you want it.

Here at www.sticktowhatyouknow.com (http://www.sticktowhatyouknow.com) we are always experimenting with new ways to make fake blood. One way is by mixing red food coloring with a base of Calamine Lotion if you want realistic dripping. For goopy blood, use a base of liquid laundry detergent. And for the ultimate blood and guts, use blackberry jelly, thats what we use in our blood blaster.
