Well, the last time we talked he said that college was taking up most of his time now, and that he wasn't all that interested in film anymore. I don't recall our talk about RT, but I don't think he plans to return.

My dad's is Serenity.
My mom's is The Wizard of Oz
My grandpa's is some old western
My grandma's is either Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, or Independence Day.

I once made my mom watch my favorite movie (Apocalypse Now) and she claims it is evil and haunted her dreams.

So many of Bergman's films have disturbing scenes such as that. I remember feeling as though my heart was torn out at the conclusion of Cries and Whispers. Winter Light is another extremely depressing film in spite of it's somewhat uplifting finale.

It's so amusing to watch. And yeah, I doubt that he'll return. He originally left RT because of all the bugs, and well, MC is nearly bugless and he still gets worked up over there.

My choice is the beginning of Exotica. It's just a pan across some jungle wallpaper, and then the letters of the title show up. It's done with such grace, and the music is absolutely perfect.

You know, I bet Jabba the Hutt's last thought after being choked by Leia was, "that was totally worth it."

I'm sure.

Soori was the best damn arguer this site ever had. Quite a few times he changed the way I looked at a film and on one occasion convinced me to change my rating a bit by enlightening me to the better part of it; I don't recall the movie however. All I know is that I've never had a more worthy oponent in any arguement then Soori.

All that is the truth.

Are you people more interested in a silent film consensus or a documentary film one? Neither are genres, rather different mediums of film... although I feel both are somewhat underappreciated or at least underseen/discussed. I think it could elicit discussion. Thoughts?

... and I still haven't found that memory key, if I don't find it by Saturday I'll have to make a new list :(

That's good... keep it coming. Trust me, I think I could get this to work if you all put a little effort into it.
