Battle of the Cartoon Characters--Round 1: Itchy and Scratchy vs. Buster Bunny

Itchy and Scratchy (The Simpsons)

vs.

Buster Bunny (Tiny Toon Adventures)

<img src=http://www.mkbmemorial.com/adler/buster.jpg>

In one corner, you have a cat and a mouse that try to kill each other in a very gruesome, but funny way, and in the other corner, you have Bugs Bunny's nephew (I don't know if they're related, but I think they are).

Vote now, you have 2 days.

EDIT: Even though I loathe The Simpsons, I'll never forget the Itchy and Scratchy cartoons they shown every once in a while.

Therefore, I'm going with Itchy & Scratchy.

I too shall vote for Itchy and Scratchy, though they're only bit characters. Buster was OK, but not that funny, and I & S are higher-quality characters. It's a difficult call, and I'm not trying to ensure an all-Simpsons quarterfinals or anything, I'm just voting for the character(s) I like more.

EDIT: But Itchy and Scratchy are no match for Eastern Europe's most popular cat-and-mouse team, Worker and Parasite.

Tiny Toons are great and so is Buster, but Itchy and Scratchy are definitive cartoon legends, even outside of Simpsons circles.

Hmm... both derivative of older cartoon characters... Buster from Bugs Bunny, of course, and Itchy and Scratchy from Tom and Jerry.

I guess Itchy and Scratchy... if just for the "nice" episodes.

(Paraphrasing from memory...)

"Lemonade?"
"Please!"
"You're my best friend."

As I explained with Troy McClure, I don't find them funny in the least nor care about them, but in the this case I gladly place them over ANY Tiny Toons character anyday.
