Can Lady in the Water take Supes' crown?

Which one will be the biggest movie of the year?

Lady in the Water is going to underperform. Thats my official word on the box office.

With that said, this Alias is 'original' approved.

The first time I saw the trailer for Lady in the Water, I nearly laughed. The voice over was really funny.

This parody of Red Beard is spot on. I think he would use that many smiles in one post.

Have you gone crazy? This is going to be the most amazing film since Superman Returns.

And Planeteer Ma-Ti ain't got shit on Shyamalan. The M man knows heart. Hell, he probably invented it.

What was so funny about a voice over used in 99% of trailers today?

If you're going to act like a moron, find a place...where morons mingle and stuff.

The person who said Lady in the Water, rated PG-13 was hilarious.

EDIT: Oh, and I see you liked The Sweet Hereafter.

Only if you make with the head. I'll be damned if I have to supersize another broad's meal without getting anything from it.

Judging by Little Man and Me, You and Dupree's openings, maybe Night could make more money by retitling it:

Drunk Bitch in the Pool.

You're just jealous of Shyamalan's mad talents and year-round tan.

I'm looking forward to it, but it's not a good sign when Harry Knowles - one of the biggest Shyamalan's fans is advising everyone to "leave your brain at the door to enjoy the film better".

http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=23901
Cliffnotes:
Quote:

This is a fairy tale, a bedtime story told by M. Night Shyamalan as a tale about where inspiration comes from.

At least, that’s how I see it. It’s about throwing out logic and practicality. It’s about letting go of being self-conscious. It’s about goofily marching forward with chocolate syrup on your face while gnawing on centipedes. It is about breaking the real world down and placing it in a ludicrous bit of bedtime illogic.

If you can’t just go with the story, you’ll find yourself trapped in what some will call the most pretentious ego-trip ever committed to film. The people that hate this film will compare it to the biggest disasters ever made.

I love the goofiness and the eccentric “what the ****, I’m shooting it” glee.

You see, this is a film that asks you to not believe in the here and now. To not step foot in reality, but to step into a writer’s hands and just let him tell you a story, where he’s making it up as he goes along and where logic has little to no place. Where you can have a character with one gigantic muscled side of his body and tells everyone that he likes being scientific. It’s goofy like that. It’s innocent.
