If I ever see this movie it because..

Alright let me start saying im not hyped with this movie at all, but after watching "Thank you for smoking" Aaron Eckhart deserves our respect as a great actor, and Im really hyped about watching the next Batman movies to see what he can do with the "Two face" character.

But anyways i believe this will be a bad choice for the actor! What do you say?

No Thank You For Smoking stars Aaron Eckhart, Dakota Fanning, Rodney Rammer and Stephen Ames.

Loved Thank You for Not Smoking. But this looks kind of like one of those generic chick-flick romantic comedies, where generally the character development/personalities follow a formula (boring).

I hope they gave him a good script to work with.

I went to this movie because I enjoyed the main actors' other films. Aaron Eckhart was great as Nick, and the movie is worth seeing just for him. Zeta's cold cook act as Kate wasn't quite believable enough for me. I kept feeling like there was more to Kate's story that had ended up on the edit room floor. I could however, feel the pain from Breslin as motherless Zoe. All in all a good remake of Mostly Martha, which I rented after I saw No Reservations. My jaw dropped as I saw (because I read them) line after line of direct quotes and scenes No Reservations used. At least NR changed the names and the ending. I enjoyed both movies, though I think I preffer NR...but only because of Nick.

I'm planning on seeing Thank You For Smoking soon, looks good. And you're right about this looking like a formulaic rom com. At first the girl hates the guy, then they start to joke, get playful and flirty, fall in love, miscommunication happens and they get pissed off at each other, then they realize they're in love and get back together. End of movie.

I agree Zeta as Kate was not convincing, but Breslin as Zoé is fabulous. She is a great actress for her age. Zeta was just playing plain Zeta.

What cruel being are you!!! Why would you give this horrid movie to anyone. It made me want to vomit in my mouth!!! Seriously, the way the music was in the background and the actors are pretending to talk and look cute...it was disgusting. How dare they send out a movie under such false pretenses. Food = Good, Zeta-Jones = Good, Eckhart = Pretty Good (had one good movie, could be a one shot thing, time will tell)...therefore the outcome should've been good. After watching the movie, i can find good bits, probably with better editing, and less cliche moments this movie could've worked, or at least watchable...instead it just makes me cringe. If you give it as a present, I hope you give it with a gift receipt.

Cheers
